This lovely young woman came to the Linkedin booth Headshot Lounge at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas for Dell-EMC World, after hearing that Linkedin was giving away really beautiful headshots at their booth.
Linkedin's Global Director, Technology Vertical Marketing, Kelly Kyer, hired Expo Traffic in order to attract the longest line to their expo booth, which was staffed by 6 sales people standing behind a long high-boy table, each ready to swing around a laptop to discuss the Linkedin profile of every one who visited.
We did not disappoint.
HIGH QUALITY HEADSHOTS AGAINST THE LUMA™ BACKDROP
Our high quality headshots against our patent-pending Luma™ Backdrop got every body excited, and once visitors began showing their headshots around the expo to friends and colleagues the line around the Linkedin booth filled up and never stopped.
EXCEPTIONAL SELLING ENVIRONMENT
For the three days (24 hours) the expo floor was open, the line leading to our headshot lounge passing in front of all of these Linkedin account executives never let up. With a captive audience and ridiculously long dwell times (30-90 minutes), the Linkedin sales executives had all the time they needed to start a comfortable conversation with the hundreds of people passing in front of them each day.
As the tradeshow floor closed on the final day, the entire Linkedin staff turned and gave us a standing ovation, something we don't always get but could get used to!
In a follow up email Kelly said:
“It was great working with you and you really helped make our presence at the event top-notch. The attendees are thrilled with their headshots!" - Kelly Kyer, Global Director, Technology Vertical Marketing, Linkedin
THE LUMA™ BACKDROP
One of the little extras we at EXPO TRAFFIC can bring to our headshot lounges is the Luma Backdrop, which appears to place our subjects in almost any environment in a super realistic way, without the complexity and risk of green screen.
The photo above appears to have been taken in the lobby of a modern office building, when in fact it was taken on the expo floor in a giant convention center right next to the Linkedin booth. The illusion is so good that it even fooled superstar NYC headshot photographer Peter Hurley, who thought it was taken in "the lobby of a nice building". Once told the facts, he was very interested in how the illusion is made.
While the way we create this illusion is kind of secret because The Luma Backdrop is still patent-pending, this beautiful backdrop is available to the clients of Expo Traffic Headshot Lounges. And we are happy to collaborate with our clients to create custom "locations" that are believable and gorgeous.
